The board of the SSAHE comprises five persons, the president, the past-president, the president-elect, the secretary/treasurer, and the "Annual President". The president-elect is elected at the fall meeting by the attending members of the SSAHE. After a two year term, he will replace the acting president, who will then become past-president. The secretary/treasurer is selected by the board. The "Annual President" is elected at each annual meeting and is in charge of organizing the next fall meeting. The present board has been elected in 2009.
