Swiss Network for Gross Anatomy (SNGA)

The SNGA was founded in autumn 2000 as subgroup of the Swiss Society for Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. It includes the leading members of the six Swiss Anatomical Institutes which are responsible for organization of teaching gross anatomy.

The main purposes of the SNGA are:

  • organization of anatomical-surgical courses for ongoing or trained surgeons
  • promotion of new teaching modules (ICT, web-based training) for anatomy
  • integration of gross anatomy with clinical disciplines
  • The SNGA will organize workshops for all members of the SGAHE / SSAHE who are interested in gross anatomy.
