To all the devoted anatomy teachers at Swiss Academic institutes out there who dedicate substantial time and effort to the perfection of medical education: this is your opportunity of getting acknowledged!
The Swiss Society for Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology (SSAHE) is pleased to announce the first Call for a Teaching Award for excellent teaching. This Prize will be awarded every two years and encompasses disciplines like gross anatomy, histology, embryology and neuroanatomy.
Individual persons or teams are eligible for the Teaching Award amounting a total of 2000 CHF. Applications can be handed in personally or as a nomination.
Please send your CV or CV of the nominated persons (maximum length: 4 pages) and a motivation letter indicating the reasons for your application/nomination (in English) via e-mail to sara.sabatasso@unil.ch. The letter should contain a detailed description of the accomplished project/achievement and highlight the reasons of being the right candidate/team.
Attachments such as student evaluations and others are allowed. Only one awardee/team will be chosen by a selection committee comprised of SSAHE board, professors or lecturers in anatomy, histology and embryology, as well as student representatives from the six Swiss Medical faculties offering a Bachelor in Medicine. The successful candidate(s) will be expected to present their teaching project at the SSAHE Annual Meeting.
